Whether you have a single live scan or multiple units statewide, ComnetiX’s peer-to-peer services can have you up and running the same day using state-of-the-art VPN technology. This highly secure and affordable system allows you to send fingerprints to California DOJ and the FBI, avoiding the lengthy and costly process of using the telephone company connection. Our auto-maintenance features, system monitoring, real-time transaction reports and automatic software upgrade functionality enhance the ability of your company to operate efficiently and profitably while ensuring the integrity of your system.

As we are hardware independent, it makes no difference to us what Live Scan system you are currently using or looking to use in the future. Our solutions are modular, customized to suit your needs as they evolve.

We offer:

• Secure forwarding of your records – All data transmitted to the ComnetiX server travels over a VPN which encrypts all network communication. Once the data is received by the ComnetiX server it is forwarded to the appropriate AFIS over dedicated communication links. This ensures that your data is secure at all times.
• Notification of receipt by the agency of your records – The ComnetiX server is designed to detect the acceptance of EFTS transaction by the target AFIS. This ensures that all data is reliably delivered to the server without loss of information.
• Automatic Record resubmission if receipt not received within prescribed timeframe.
• Lost record checking – The data integrity of the server is constantly monitored by software on the server. If the monitoring tools detect the possible loss of information, then the ComnetiX support team is immediately notified. All data on the server is backed up regularly and is available for resubmission to an AFIS in the event that the AFIS losses the record.
• Complete firewall and virus protection – The security of your data is very important. The ComnetiX server resides behind a firewall, and runs the latest intrusion detection systems (IDS) and virus detection software. Security updates are regularly applied to all components to keep up with the latest security threats.
• Real-time reports- The ComnetiX fingerprint services website provides you with the ability to securely search and retrieve information regarding the data that you submit. PDF reports can be produced for an arbitrary date range. The reports can be further refined by providing a wide range of criteria.
• Ability to route to multiple destinations, if required – You can manage one or more destinations using the fingerprint services website. You can control the routing of records to a given destination based on TOT or any other field in the NIST record.
